You are not alone. Never alone!

Dear Friend, The feeling of loneliness can dawn on someone’s life even when they are surrounded by many people. Although people who workday in and day out in social settings feel lonely. An editor of a magazine recently wrote to us about the lonely feelings she has been going through. A young teenager wrote to us about her life in loneliness after her mother and father were separated. A person who was hiding and running away from his lenders after accumulating huge debt felt lonely and all alone. Depression and sickness can also drive someone to loneliness. All the above categories of people have something in common. They do not have anyone who cares for them. At least they think so. They are left alone all by themselves.

Men and women go through emotional battles with loneliness when they go through difficult times in their life. A wife or a husband feels lonely when the relationship between them becomes cold. The feeling of being unloved and unappreciated can push someone to loneliness.

To treat the loneliness many entertain themselves, spend time with friends and come back home still as lonely people. Is there a cure for loneliness?

You are not alone

The truth we were never created to be alone. Our mind was designed to have an intimate and close relationship with God. We are supposed to get guidance on how to live our lives through the same relationship. God wants to talk to us. He wants to guide us and help us. We never realize it and try to connect with Him or call upon His name during times of our need.

God says, “I have spread out My hands all the day long ..” God keeps his hands open and offers an open invitation to everyone. He is ready to welcome everyone. The rich and poor, the sinner and the saint, the educated and uneducated, the qualified and unqualified, the people living in the western and eastern part of the world, you and me, and the rest of us all are welcome to His glorious presence.

Jesus looked at the city of Jerusalem and cried out. He said, “How many times I yearned to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her young under her wings, but you were unwilling!” Jesus always wanted to have a closer relationship with us. But many times we are buried in our own lives and our ways. We do not have time for God in this busy world. We do not have time to neither speak to Him or listen to Him. Jesus is waiting for you with tears in his eyes and longing to meet you today. You are His precious child.

No one is unwelcomed in the presence of Jesus. He died for every one of us to have a close relationship with him. No sin is so great that the blood of Jesus cannot cleanse. He is ready to make unqualified as qualified today. Jesus already paid the cost on the cross.

We are not alone. We were never alone. If we feel we are alone, it is because we are unaware of the great invitation of fellowship God kept open just for us.

“There is a God-shaped vacuum in the heart of each man which cannot be satisfied by any created thing but only by God the Creator, made know through Jesus Christ”. – Pascal (French Mathematician)

God says, “You are mine”

The Bible says, “Now, this is what the LORD, your Creator says, O Jacob, And He who formed you, O Israel, “Do not fear, for I have redeemed you [from captivity]; I have called you by name; you are Mine!”

God who created us says, we belong to Him. A broken relationship with God always creates a vacuum between us and God.

God says, “Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne? Though she may forget, I will not forget you”

God never forgets us. He never stops thinking about our welfare and future. Because we are His. He created us. He gave his breath and brought us alive. The Bible says, “Then the Lord God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.”

The same breath he gave to the first man on earth passed on to each one of us when we are in our mother’s womb. We breathe in and breathe out God’s breath every day. How can we be separated from the God who gave us breath and brought us alive? We belong to God who created us. We belong to Him and Him alone

Loneliness during difficult times

Jesus does not want to leave us alone during difficult times. Dear reader, it does not matter whether you are reading this amid sickness, separation from a loved one, or any other difficult situation. You are not alone in your journey. Jesus is with you. He said, “I will not leave you as orphans“. This is the promise from Jesus to everyone. He will never leave us. But we might have left Jesus alone somewhere in our life. We might have walked away far away from God. It’s time to reconcile with Him right now.

Jesus never intended us to carry all our burdens by ourselves. He took all our burdens on the cross on himself. The Bible says, “Surely he (Jesus) took up our pain and bore our suffering. He was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him” Why should we carry all our burdens when Jesus has carried them on the cross on behalf of us? Let’s go to His presence and lay down all our heart’s burdens. He wants to talk to you right now. He wants to be your friend, counselor, and great comforter. Are you ready to invite Jesus as your friend today?

If you have not reconciled with Jesus in the recent past, please reconcile with Him. Ask Him to forgive all your past mistakes. Invite Him into your heart. He will take away your loneliness and lead you from where you are right now.

Please place your hand on your heart and call upon the name of Jesus. Pray the below prayer along with us from the bottom of your heart.

Dear Jesus, I come to you with a humble heart. You are always with me. You are with me right now. I know you understand my heart more than anyone else in this world. You are the God who died for me on the cross. Please come into my life. Forgive all my past mistakes. Wash me with your precious blood. Make me holy. Take away all the negative thoughts from my mind. Be my God and lead me. Help me to obey you and hold on to you all through my life. Take away the feeling of loneliness. Let me speak to you and take your counsel at every turn of my life. Jesus, I believe in you. I put all my trust in you. In Jesus’s mighty name, I pray. Amen.

Dear Friend, Thanks so much for praying along with us. Jesus loves you. He will hold your hands and lead you. He will surely comfort you and wipe away all your tears. You are never alone. Jesus will continue to be with you. May Jesus bless you.

We would like to close this with this beautiful Psalm.

Where can I go from your Spirit?

    Where can I flee from your presence?

If I go up to the heavens, you are there;

    if I make my bed in the depths, you are there.

If I rise on the wings of the dawn,

    if I settle on the far side of the sea,

even there your hand will guide me,

    your right hand will hold me fast.

If I say, “Surely the darkness will hide me

    and the light become night around me,”

even the darkness will not be dark to you;

    the night will shine like the day,

    for darkness is as light to you.
