I am so thankful to God for the gift of life, my beautiful girls, and their wonderful father. But if I’m being honest, my marriage feels like it’s full of thorns. My husband is a good man, morally upright, but he lacks romance and thoughtfulness. When there’s tension, he gives me the silent treatment, and if I do the same, somehow the blame shifts to me. I often feel like he doesn’t know how to truly handle or understand a woman’s heart. He rarely expresses love, and when I’m hurt by his actions, he doesn’t take accountability. He’ll apologize if he thinks he’s wrong, but he doesn’t acknowledge when I feel hurt. I’m stuck in this emotional void, unsure of what to do. I’ve prayed and asked God to help him understand me, but I still feel empty. There’s always something missing. He’s not the type of man I envisioned being with. I crave a creative, thoughtful man who takes the lead and makes me feel loved, seen, and wanted. Only then would I feel inspired to reciprocate the love he gives.
Please pray for Kari who is dying, please pray for a miracle that she can wake up and take care herself and take care her daughters. But if the Lord wants it to be a different way, pray for peace between the sibling and the bad father that made everything impossible for the siblings to see the dying sister.
