Dear Friend, Jesus loves you. In any warfare, when two countries fight against each other, they explore each other’s strengths and weaknesses. They try to understand how to destroy their enemy’s strength so that they can disarm them.
Our spiritual life is not much different. Satan wants to destroy our faith. He wants to give us a feeling of hopelessness. He will keep telling us that, there is no one there to help us and that we have reached the edge of life. He will make you think everything is over.
Our God has given us several weapons to protect ourselves from the enemy’s attack. One of the strongest weapons is faith.
We need faith in the Christian journey not only to get answers from prayers but also to apply it in our practical lives. We need to have faith that Jesus will be able to guard us from difficult situations. It is our faith in Jesus that makes us strong and courageous.
The unschooled and uneducated disciples of Jesus Christ became courageous because they had strong faith in Christ. They chose to obey God rather than the rulers and authorities and continued to spread the good news with courage and boldness.
Jesus wants each of us to have such strong faith. Let’s go to His presence and pray to Him.
Dear Jesus, help me grow in faith. As I continue my walk with you, please help me reduce my trust in my strength and put more trust in you. You alone can help me navigate the complexities and difficulties of this life. You alone can hold my hands and lead me. I want to face my future with boldness and confidence in you. Be my God and lead me. I pray in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
