Bible Reading: John 2:1-12
Dear friend, Do you lack something in life? We receive emails from many who have immediate and urgent financial needs. There are others who are seeking jobs for a long time. Many families have needs. What about you? Do you have needs? Jesus wants to speak to you. Jesus wants to provide for your needs. He understands your difficult situation. He wants to help you.
I have gone through difficult times in my life. Jesus answered my prayers. I could not go to anyone for help. Since there was no medical cure to the sickness, I had gone through. You can read My Testimony. Jesus answered my prayers. He provided good health for me. He will do the same for you.
We give all the glory to God. Jesus called us to pray for others. We are not certified counselors or medical Doctors. We lead people to Jesus. He is a wonderful counselor and healer. Many received the healing touch from Jesus. You can read all the testimonies here => Testimonies
We encourage you to read the above Bible reading before continuing to read the below message.
Jesus can provide for your needs:
Once, Jesus was invited to a wedding in Cana. It was a custom to serve wine during the Jewish wedding during the days of Jesus. It is the responsibility of the host to make sure there is enough for everyone. But there is an immediate need for more wine. It started running out. There was a panic in the wedding. Mary, the mother of Jesus asked him to do something. She knew Jesus could give a solution to the problem. But Jesus did not immediately help. He said, "This isn’t my time. Don’t push me." Then he asked the servants to fill the empty jars with water. Finally, he asked the servants to go and serve the water. When they served the water, it became delicious wine.
Today, we might have needs in our lives. It could be critical for us. Let's look at the Biblical example and apply the same in our life. Jesus is our provider. How to receive our providence from Him?
First, We need to invite Jesus into our life:
If you have invited Jesus into your life, please invite Him into your life. Jesus was invited to the wedding. That's why He was able to do the miracle. Many of us can keep worrying about the situation. But worrying will not solve our problem. Only Jesus can solve our problem. We need Him to be part of the situation. If you want to know how to invite Jesus into your life by asking for forgiveness you can read here => Jesus wants to forgive your past
Secondly, we need to tell our problems to Him:
Similar to what Mary did, we also need to go to the presence of Jesus and tell him about our problem. Unless we ask He will not answer. Yes, He knows everything about us. But we live in a fallen world. The heaven can not reach out to us. We have to reach out to Heaven with a humble heart.
Thirdly, He Answers In His time:
Jesus said, "It is not His time". He knew the problem we were going through. He understands the need. He answers our prayers in His time. He does not operate on our schedule. God knew when to answer our prayers. We need to wait. We can ask Him to give us the strength to wait. He will surely fill our hearts with peace and enable us to be patient and perseverance.
Fourthly, Jesus might ask us to mend our life:
When Mary heard what Jesus said, she asked the servants to do what he was asking them to do and left the place. We should also wait for Jesus. He might tell us to correct a few things in our life. He will mend our lives. He will break our pride. He will instruct and teach us to correct our past life. It might take time. It might be a painful waiting time. We should listen to His voice and be willing to obey Him. The Bible says, "For those whom the Lord loves He corrects, Even as a father corrects the son" - Proverbs 3:12
Finally, Pray with Faith:
The servants took the water and served it as wine. The water turned into wine as they served. There is an element of faith here. Knowing very well it is water the servants took the jar and served them. The water became wine when they served. No one can please God without faith. We need faith when we pray and ask Jesus for an answer. The Bible says, "Without faith, no one can please God. Anyone who comes to God must believe that he is real and that he rewards those who truly want to find him." - Hebrews 11:6.
