Are You Feeling Worthless? God who created you knows how precious you are.

Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand. (NLT) - The Bible

Dear friend, Are you going through a feeling of worthlessness because of your current situation? Many have written to us regarding the worthless feelings they have been going through. One young man felt he is going through a deep fear in his life. Whenever he sees someone in trouble, he fears the same trouble will happen in his life, too. When fear surrounds him, he feels worthless. Another Gentleman wrote to us about the terrible debt he is going through. The severe financial stress made him feel worthless, as he could not come out of it. A sister wrote to us about the failures in her life. She feels her life is worthless because of the recent failures she had gone through.

The feeling of worthlessness could surface in our minds because of many reasons, such as unknown fear, past failures, sickness, depression, disappointment, and financial crisis. How to stop the worthless feeling from entering our hearts?

Jesus can guard our hearts

The Bible gives a straightforward direction to guard our hearts against worthless feelings. It says, “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.

Friend, God knows our life on earth is challenging for everyone. Jesus will never leave us as orphans on our perilous journey on earth. He invites every one of us to His presence to pour out all our worries and needs. List down all the concerns and desires in his presence. Also, thank him for all the good things He has done in our life.

When we do that, Jesus will guard our hearts and minds. Even though we walk through difficult situations, the situation will not affect our hearts. We will not be pushed into depression or disappointment. Instead, the peace of God will cover our life. It will guard our hearts and mind. We might ask, how is it possible? How can Jesus remove my anxieties just by prayer and thanksgiving? Please read the Bible verse again. This peace comes from God. This is heavenly peace. It comes directly from God.

Many years ago, i and my wife went through a challenging situation. One day, my wife came with a suggestion to list down all the prayer requests we had. We went to God every day with that list of prayer requests. We asked for God’s help in our life. We invited Jesus into our situation. Most of the time, we were tired because of the challenging situation we went through. We slept off before closing the prayer. But God was listening to our prayers and our needs. He started answering our prayers. We started writing all the answered prayers. We thanked God for all the answered prayers before starting with our unanswered prayers. Our prayer cycle continued. Finally, God released us completely out of the situation. He filled us with His heavenly peace.

Dear reader, Why don’t you try this out in your life too? Pour out your heart to Jesus. Once again, I would repeat the God who created us will never leave us as orphans. He is our heavenly father. We are His precious children.

God’s Grand Plan

No one came to this world as an accident. God has a grand plan for everyone. He has a plan and purpose for you. No one is useless. No one is worthless. You are the masterpiece of God. The Bible says we are fearfully and wonderfully made by God. God carefully and lovingly created every one of us. He will be with us and lead us by holding our right hand like a father leads His child. Do not be discouraged. Allow God to lead you out of your difficult situation today. The Bible says, "Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed,” says the Lord, who has compassion on you."

Dear friend, our friends might have considered us useless. But we are precious to God. He loves us so much that He sent His only son, Jesus, to die on the cross for us. Jesus was made a sinner for the sake of all our mistakes. He carried the mistakes of all of us so that our past mistakes can be forgiven. Through Jesus, we have access to God’s Holy presence. We have a direct relationship with God because of what Jesus has done for us. We can go to His presence with the assurance that every one of our prayers will be heard and answered by God.

Dear reader, it does not matter where you are right now. Jesus wants to talk to you today. He wants to calm the storm you are battling today. He can unload all the burdens and fill your life with peace. The artist has the picture he wants to draw in his mind before he makes the first stroke of paint. The potter decides the pottery he wants to make even while he prepares the clay. Similarly, God knows our value and worth before we were born. No one can steal or take away God’s plan from you. God does not make mistakes, and hence, no one is mistakenly created.

Our Responsibility

While God has a perfect plan for everyone, you may still look at the situation in front of you and think this could be for someone else and not for you. The odds may be stacked against you. But amid all this, God is still in control. He can surely change the situation. He can give new meaning to our life if we allow Him to fulfill His purpose in our life. He can tune our life and remodel it for the true purpose He had in mind. He can show how precious we are in His kingdom.

God can use everyone. It does not matter if you are educated or not. Whether you have qualified or unqualified right now. We all have a heavenly father who can make us qualified and knowledgeable.

Dear friend, are you ready to allow God into your life? Let’s pray together and ask Jesus to change our life. Place your hand on your heart and call out the name of Jesus. May Jesus place His hand on top of your hand. Please pray the below prayer with your own words.

Dear Jesus, I felt I am worthless. But the Bible says I am your masterpiece and your wonderful creation. I truly want to be your masterpiece. You are my heavenly father and the God who created me. No one knows me more than you do. You know my worth and the purpose for which you have created me. I have made many decisions in my life without consulting you. I took the wrong path a few times. But you still love me. I want to follow you with all my heart. Please mold my life again. Show me the plans you have for me.

Dear Jesus, I want to be your child. Please hold my hand and lead me. Help me make the right choices in my life. I ask for forgiveness. I put my hope in you. I do not worry about what others say about me, but want to focus on what you really think about me. I fix my eyes on you. In Jesus’s name, I pray. Amen.

Dear friend, we are so glad you prayed the above prayer. May Jesus speak to you today and reveal to you how precious you are right now. May God bless you and make you a blessing for many.

Jesus wants to make you His own child. Ask for forgiveness for your past life. Jesus will forgive you. He will renew your life and lead you like a father lead His own child. Please humble you heart and pray to Jesus.
