New Hope, new covenant and a new beginning

4.5

Dear friend, thanks so much for choosing to open this message. We are so glad you have joined us today through this email. Right now it is the month of December. December brings hope when we remember the birth of Christ. It reminds us of the new covenant, the God of heaven, made with humanity through Christ. He promised to forgive all of our past through his death on the cross. It opened a new beginning for everyone. The forgiveness of our sin directly made the gates of heaven open to everyone who asks, seeks, and knocks on the doors of heaven. Well, you might ask, what this new hope means to me and my family?

Let’s assume a situation we need help from a highly placed Government official. To meet and convey our grievances, we need a letter of invitation. Even after that, there could be an appointed time based on his availability and waiting time. We can not meet the chief official at any time we want to meet. Even after doing all this, the meeting could be canceled at any time because of different priorities.

But the God who created heaven and earth does not want this to happen to us. He wants to welcome us to His presence all the time. In fact, He wants to be with us and He chose to come to us by becoming a human. This is the event we celebrate and remember even today as Christmas.

It means you and I can walk into the glorious presence of God at any time and pour out our hearts to Him.

New Hope

Christmas gives new hope to everyone. Jesus came to earth to forgive all our past. He reconciled all our lives with God by opening the gates of heaven full and wide. All of us have direct access to the throne of grace and mercy to receive our freedom from our past. We have a solid assurance that our prayers will be heard and answered. No one will be pushed away. There are no queues and no waiting time to meet the God of heaven. There is no sin that is so dark the blood of Jesus can not forgive and cleanse.

Jesus took all our sins on himself and paid the price for us on the cross. The Bible says, “But it was our sins that did that to him, that ripped and tore and crushed him—our sins! He took the punishment, and that made us whole. Through his bruises we get healed. (MSG)“

Somebody has to suffer for our mistakes. Somebody has to pay the price. The God of heaven came forwarded and owned all the responsibility for our past sins. The forgiveness for our sins costs everything to God. He had to sacrifice his only son, Jesus Christ, on the cross so that we can be set free from our hopeless situation.

The Bible says, His (Jesus) name is Immanuel, meaning “God with us“. Meaning, we don’t have to travel to some place to meet Him. He is going to be with us. He knows our problems and wants to help us when we seek Him with all our hearts. Jesus wants to change your life and give you new hope today.

There is hope for everyone in the presence of Almighty God. The Bible says:

He (The Lord) gives strength to the weary

   and increases the power of the weak.

Even youths grow tired and weary,

   and young men stumble and fall;

but those who hope in the Lord

   will renew their strength.

They will soar on wings like eagles;

   they will run and not grow weary,

   they will walk and not be faint.

New Covenant

A covenant is a formal agreement between two parties that can not be broken or revoked. God made a special covenant with humanity through Jesus Christ. The primary purpose of the birth of Jesus Christ was to make peace with humanity. Direct peace with God and humanity was not possible in its current state. The holiest God and unholy humanity can not make peace. Jesus came to the earth to pardon the sins of all humanity and guarantee righteousness for everyone willing to seek it.

The night before his crucifixion, Jesus introduced this new covenant to all of us. “Then he took a cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you. This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.

The new covenant is available for everyone. The deep joy of Christmas lies in the fact that Jesus made the covenant with humanity to forgive our past.

New Beginning

Christmas brings a new beginning to our life. The Bible says, “His (Jesus’s) name will be the hope of all the world.“ Jesus wants to give us a new beginning, a new life, and a new year with fresh hope to look forward to. He wants to heal all the past hurt and remove the burdens that is pressing our life.

Are you ready to meet your God and your savior? Are you ready to talk to Jesus, who gave up His life and paid the full price to offer forgiveness? He can give us a new beginning.

Let’s go to Jesus and pray to Him. He wants to welcome every one of us. Our hearts will find comfort and solace in His arms. We will find answers to our life’s questions and solutions to all problems in the glorious presence of the heavenly king. He will open new doors for us. Let’s pray to Him. Please place your hand on your heart and call upon the name of Jesus. Let’s pray together.

Dear Jesus, we are praying together with the dear brother/sister who is reading this email along with us. Thank you so much for giving us new hope. You are the hope of this world. You are the hope of our life. We invite you into your life. Please come listen to each one of our dear brothers and sister's prayers. Please answer them. They are your children. You are our God. You alone can answer our prayers. Please come and lift them up from all their problems. We seek your face with all our hearts. You know many are going through financial challenges. Wipe away all their tears. As they are praying along with us right now, please touch them with your nail-pierced hands. Give them new hope. Show them a new way. Please bless their life. Fill their heart with your heavenly peace. Please hold their hands and walk them. Forgive all their past mistakes. Jesus, we believe in you. We put all our trust in you. In Jesus’s mighty name, we pray. Amen.

Dear Friend, thanks so much for praying along with us. Jesus loves you. He cares for your future. He will lead you. Do not lose hope
