Knowing God – Like a father, Jesus loves us all | Believe Him

Dear friend, Thanks for joining with us today. We are embarking on the journey of knowing God. You might know about your friends. We always take pride in knowing about famous people. We take every opportunity to take a picture with them (given a chance) and brag about it on social media. Today, the most famous person in the universe wants you to know Him. He is your heavenly father. He loves you with the father’s love. He wants to take a selfie with you today. Because you are His most precious and dear creation. The God who created you values you more than anything else in this world.

Like a father, Jesus loves us all

The Bible says, “As a father has compassion on his children, so the LORD has compassion on those who fear him;” – Psalm 103:13. Jesus loves us like a father. The parable of the Prodigal Son narrated by Jesus, explains His overwhelming love as a father for His lost son. Though the son threw away His father’s love and wasted all His possessions, the heart of the father still yearned for his lost son. He waited all day, and His eyes were searching for his lost son. Jesus is waiting for you and me. His eyes are searching for every lost soul. Are you lost today? Jesus wants you to come back to Him. He wants to meet you and welcome you. If you want to know more about the love of Jesus, you can read Jesus is searching for you.

Jesus has a father’s heart

The heart of Jesus aches and pains when His children neither understand nor care for his love. He died for them on the cross. God said, “How gladly would I treat you like my children and give you a pleasant land, the most beautiful inheritance of any nation.’ I thought you would call me ‘Father’ and not turn away from following me. But like a woman unfaithful to her husband, so you, Israel, have been unfaithful to me,” declares the Lord.” – Jeremiah 3:18-20 (NIV). Jesus would be happy if we called him our heavenly father. He wants to bless us. He has a great plans for us. But many of us chose not to treat him like a father. We ignore what He wants to give and choose our way of living.

The Bible says, “All day long I have held out my hands to an obstinate people, who walk in ways not good, pursuing their own imaginations” – Isaiah 65:2 The heart of Jesus never gives up. He loves us so dearly. He still waits for them to come back to Him.

The Father’s love is more than the love of a mother

As per the World Health Organization, 3 out of every 10 pregnancies ends in abortion. The mother chose to terminate their babies before they were born. Mother stop loving their babies because they are unintended and unplanned. There is a mother who disowns their child after the birth because of deformities. But the Lord loves us all. The Bible says, “Can a mother forget the infant at her breast, walk away from the baby she bore? But even if mothers forget, I’d never forget you-never.” – Isaiah 49:15. The love of Jesus is deeper than the love of a mother. No one can fathom his love.

Dear friend, do you feel that no one loves you? Jesus loves you today. He loves you as you are. It does not matter who you are and what your background is. He cares for you. He loves you like a father loves His child. You are His precious child.

Our heavenly father knows all our needs

Jesus knows all our needs. He wants to give his best for us. Jesus said, “Which of you, if your son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!” – Matthew 7:9-11 (NIV).

Dear friend, Are you a single mother? Your children have a heavenly father. Maybe you have lost your father. Be assured, that your heavenly father is with you right now. He will never leave you. He knows well, what you need, when you need, and how much you need. Please go to His presence and ask. Whoever asks will receive.

Jesus said, “Look at the birds in the air. They don’t plant harvest or store food in barns, but your heavenly Father feeds them. And you know that you are worth much more than the birds.” – Matthew 6:26-27. Jesus will fulfill all your needs.
