Knowing God – He is a faithful God

Dear Friend, Have you prayed for a long time and yet, not received answers? The Bible says, “He who promised is faithful.” – Hebrew 10:23. Do not be tired. God is faithful. He will answer the prayer if our prayer is according to His will. Your prayers and your tears will never be forgotten. Do not worry

Jesus wants to hold us closer to Himself:

Jesus is our heavenly father. He knows what is good for us. His will is to keep us safe in this world and spend eternity with Him. He never wants to depart from our life. Jesus will not give anything that will separate us from Him.

The wise man wrote, “Give me neither poverty nor riches; feed me with the food that is needed for me, lest I be full and deny you and say, “Who is the Lord?” or lest I be poor and steal and profane the name of my God.” – Proverb 30:8,9

Is it true in our life? When we are rich and satisfied, do we search for God? When we have a need, then we run to Him. Jesus wants us to be with Him. He knows our hearts. He knows when we will run away from Him. Even though we leave Him, He will come searching for us.

If we have lived a life in the past by constantly running away from Him, then Jesus would want to hold us closer to Him. He knows when we will stay closer to Him, and what problems will bring us back to Him. Jesus knows what will make us depend upon Him. He does it out of immense love. We are His children. Bought and fully paid through His precious blood. He suffered on the cross for every one of us. Jesus does not want to lose any one of us.

Jesus said, “How often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you were not willing.” – Matthew 23:37.

Jesus is longing for you. He is possessive about us. The God said, “You are mine” – Isaiah 43:1b. We belong to Him. Like a mother who is possessive about her Child, Jesus is possessive about us.

How do we know our prayers are God’s will?

It is our God’s will that all of us live a life in peace. It is His will that we are free from debt and disease. Jesus desires us to live with sound mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual health.

If we have prayed in line with His will and still not getting a response, then there could be a reason for it. Jesus can explain the reason to us personally. It could be our lack of faith, unreconciled past, thankless heart, or anything else.

The Bible says, “I the Lord search the heart and test the mind, to give every man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his deeds.” – Jeremiah 17:10

Jesus knows all the hidden secrets and motives. There is nothing we can hide from Him. The Bible says, “O Lord, you have searched me and known me!” – Psalm 139:1

God who promised is faithful:

Our God is faithful. The Bible says, “Know therefore that the Lord your God is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and steadfast love with those who love him and keep his commandments, to a thousand generations.” – Deuteronomy 7:9

God neither forgets nor changes what He said. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

He is a faithful God. The Bible says, “He who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.” – Philippians 1:6

If we roll through the page of the Bible, one quality of God that is obvious and clear is His faithfulness. Many who believed in His name testified His faithfulness again and again. He said to Moses, “The Lord, the Lord, a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness.” – Exodus 34:6

God expects us to be Faithful to Him:

God, who is faithful, expects us to be faithful to Him. Are we faithful to Jesus today? The Bible says, “If you faithfully obey the voice of the Lord your God, being careful to do all his commandments that I command you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations of the earth.” – Deuteronomy 28:1

We can pray to God, who is faithful when we live a faithful life in obedience. Those of us who expect God’s faithfulness in our lives have to apply our faithfulness to Him. Let’s pray to Jesus and express our faithfulness to Him.

Please place your hand on your heart and call upon the name of Jesus. Pray the below prayer in your own words. Jesus is listening. The God who promised is faithful.
