Behold, I (Jesus) stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me. – Revelation 3:20 ESV.
Dear friend, Our God is a great God. All things are possible for Him. What is impossible for us is possible for God. Jesus can accomplish what we can not achieve. He can see possibilities that we can not see. But we hardly have time to speak to Jesus. He is waiting to answer our prayers. But we hardly have time to pray. We are either too busy to ask for help or ignorant of His power, love, and greatness.
Independent of your past and background, Jesus wants to speak to you. Do you have time to talk to Him? You might not have known Him before. Some of you might even hate the name of Jesus, or you don’t believe in His name. It does not matter. Jesus still wants to speak to you. You are His precious child. He paid the price for all your past on the cross. You don’t have to carry the burdens he has already carried on the cross. Please open your heart and get ready to speak to Jesus today.
How to Approach Jesus?
Jesus has a personality. He has emotions. God loves, He cares, and He comforts. He does get upset and angry when we do wrong. He wants to have a meaningful relationship with every one of us. Like a mother loves Her child, He loves us. He gets hurt when we disobey Him. He weeps when we suffer and want to bring us out of suffering.
Jesus is not looking for your gold and money. The Bible says, “The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, declares the Lord of hosts” – Haggai 2:8 ESV. God does not need our money. All his blessings come free of cost. He will never ask you to meet Him at a distance. He will come to you where you are right now. You don’t have to search for him. He will come searching for you.
Jesus loves you dearly. His love is more than a motherly love. The Bible says, “Can a woman forget her nursing child, that she should have no compassion on the son of her womb? Even these may forget, yet I will not forget you. Behold, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands; your walls are continually before me.” – Isaiah 49:15-17 ESV.
When you approach Jesus, be as you are. He knows everything about you more than you know about yourself. Please don’t try to be somebody else in His presence. He wants to accept you as you are. You don’t need credentials, skills, status, or educational qualifications to speak to Jesus. He is the God who created you. He understands how precious you are.
Jesus is waiting to answer your prayers:
Dear friend, the God who created the heaven and earth is waiting to answer your prayers. Jesus said, “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened.” Matthew 7:7,8 ESV. This is the promise from Jesus. He wants us to ask so that we can receive it. Some assume Jesus knows everything. Hence, we need not ask anything. He will provide everything without asking. But let’s carefully look at the Bible verse. Jesus said everyone who asks will receive. We should learn to ask so that we can receive. Seek so that we will find. We should learn to knock so that Jesus will open new doors.
Dear friend, this is your time to unload all your heart’s burdens in the presence of Jesus. Please invite Him into your life. Ask Jesus to forgive all your past mistakes. Jesus wants to change your life and fill your heart with joy and peace.
Let’s pray to Jesus. Please place your hand on your heart and call upon the name of Jesus. Pray the below prayer along with us in your own words. We are praying along with you.
Dear Jesus, I (insert your name here) come to you with a humble heart before your throne of grace. You know my heart. You know all about my situation. Please come into my life. I am not perfect. I made mistakes. I have gone far away from you. I have made many wrong choices without consulting you. Jesus, I am sorry. Please forgive me. Come into my life. Please heal me. Fill my heart with your heavenly peace and joy. I am not worthy to be called as your child. Please accept me. I want to come back to you.
Jesus, I need your help. My heart is heavy, and I do not have any other option to get out of this challenging situation. Please come and help me. Please show me a way. Open new doors for me. Jesus, you are my hope. I put all my trust in you. Please hold my hands and lead me. Bless my life. Help me to be a blessing for many. I pray in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
Jesus loved every word you prayed. He is so glad to listen to your words. His heart is happy that you have come back to Him. Please continue to hold on to Him.
