Who You Are in God’s Eyes – Believe Him

Bible Reading: Psalm 121

Dear Friend,

During our life, we learn a lot through our formal and informal education. We are proud of what we have learned and our knowledge. Despite all our learning, we know little about who we are. Our emotions drive our perception of life. We are happy one morning but end up sad one hour later. Why do our feelings fluctuate so much? Do we know who we are? We are going to see who we are from the perspective of God.

You are God’s Precious Creation:

You are a most cherished creation of God. He created everything with his word. When God said, let there be light, there was light. He could easily say another word: let there be a human. Indeed, a human could have been created by God, who created the entire universe just by His word. God chose to use His hands and created humans in his image. The Bible says, “So God created man in his image, in the image of God he created him;” Do we understand that we are created in the image of God? Can you please put your hand on your heart and say, “I am created in the image of God“.

What is the image of God we carry? We are representatives of our Lord Jesus. He gave us the authority to rule the earthly kingdom with Grace, kindness, and peace. We are the only species in this world with the cognitive intelligence to learn, solve problems, analyze situations, and find solutions. The theory of evolution could not explain how humanity obtained the cognitive intelligence the monkey does not have. God gave us intelligence so that we can be blessed and be a blessing to others.

The Psalmist says, “For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.” – Psalm 139:13,14. God created us. You may not have a mother or father. But God is your heavenly father. Are you a single mom? Your children have a heavenly father. You are not alone. He will lead your children.

You are special:

We may not have access to the office of the president. But the office of God is always open to us. Heaven will start listening as soon as we start praying. We do not have to travel to a distant place to meet Jesus. The Bible says, “Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.” He is right there with us wherever we are today. Dear friend, you are very special to Jesus. He loved you and gave His life for you on the cross. The Bible says, “He was pierced for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace.” – Isaiah 53:5. Jesus paid in full for all our sins so that we could be clothed with righteousness. With the righteousness we received from Jesus, we can boldly go to the presence of Jesus and enter His holy Holy. We are unqualified and unworthy. But Jesus made us qualified and worthy. You are very special.

You are not alone:

Are you feeling lonely and abandoned amid a crisis? Even if everybody leaves us, Jesus will be with us. The Bible says, “Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne? Though she may forget, I will not forget you.You are not alone. Jesus is with you right now. Invite Him into your life. He can mend all the broken pieces of your life and lead you.

Hagar’s husband, Abraham, abandoned her. She was pregnant and wandering in a dangerous desert without water. God reached out to her when she called out to Him. The Bible says, “So she called the name of the Lord who spoke to her, “You are a God of seeing,” for she said, “Truly here I have seen him who looks after me.” God does look after you. He is the God who sees you. You are not alone. Your help is a prayer away.

Dear friend, you are very special to Jesus. You are created in the image of God. He who called you will lead you. He who is within you is more powerful than the powers of this world. The God who created the heaven and earth is with you. When He is with you, who can be against you? He will lead you and help you to fight all your battles. Do not worry

Let’s go to the presence of Jesus and pray to Him. He is our hope and answer to all our prayers. Please place your hand on your heart and call upon the name of Jesus. Pray the below prayer along with us from the bottom of your heart. Jesus wants to listen to your words.

Dear Jesus, I understand who I am. I am so special and loved by you. You are my heavenly father who created me fearfully and wonderfully. Jesus, you care for me and love me. All through my life, I want to lift your name. I am not alone. You will never leave me nor forsake me. You are my dear God. Please hold my life. Could you show me the way I should walk? Forgive all my past mistakes. Hold me close to you. I lift your name on high. You are the God who died for me and clothed me with your righteousness. I am a sinner. I have made many mistakes. Still, you came searching for me. You died on the cross to save. I surrender my life to you. Please hold me and lead me. I pray in the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.

You are exceptional. Jesus cares for you. He will surely lead you. I would like to leave you with a beautiful verse from Psalm 121.

The Lord is your keeper; the Lord is your shade on your right hand. The sun shall not strike you by day, nor the moon by night.
