Dear friend, The Bible says, God so loved the world He gave His only son, Jesus, as a sacrifice for our past mistakes. Why should God love you and me so much? He could have sent an angel to sacrifice for us. He could have negotiated a heavy ransom to secure our freedom from the sins. But why He had to send His only son, Jesus, as a ransom for the mistakes we have done? He did it because we are His most special and precious children. Whether we believe it or not, Heaven considers us as the most precious creation. God does not want to delegate the job of securing human freedom from sin to anyone else.
King’s Love For His Son
Once a King of a beautiful land had three children. He loved them all. He had a wise minister who used to counsel the king in all matters. One day the King asked His minister, why your God had to come from heaven to save Humanity? If he is a true God and powerful, why can’t he send someone else and get things done? The minister did not respond. He asked for some time to think about it.
One day the king brought one of His sons for a fishing expedition. They were traveling along in a boat along with the minister and king’s bodyguards. Suddenly, because of a gigantic wave, the boat shook. King’s son fell into the water. The king immediately jumped into the water to save his son. He never looked for help from his bodyguards. After saving his son, he came back to the boat very happily.
The minister asked the King, dear King, why you had to jump into the water to save your son? There are many bodyguards on the ship who are willing to even die for you. Why you did not command them to save your son? You shouldn’t have done this. But King said to the minister, “he is my loving son. I care for him the most. I need to save him myself. I do not want to give this job to someone else.” The minister responded, “King, for the same reason Jesus came into this world. We are His precious children. He wanted to save us by Himself and don’t want to leave this important job to someone else”
God’s love for His Children
Yes, dear friend, to save His precious creation, the creator himself came down. Jesus said, “I am the resurrection and the life. Anyone who believes in me will live, even after dying.” He wanted to give spiritual life to every one of us. He came to save everyone, from spiritual death.
Spiritual death is a separation from God. Spiritual life is a fellowship with God.
Who can fathom the love of Jesus? He came to this world to take all our mistakes on himself. Sinless God became a sinner for our sake. He died on the cross to take all the curses and became cursed. He offered forgiveness for all of us free of cost. Through forgiveness, He cleansed our past mistakes. He made all of us born sinners right with God.
Jesus not only died for our past but also arose back to life on the third day. He is alive today. He is listening to our prayers right now and answer each of them.
How do we receive this forgiveness from God? What qualifications do we need? Jesus said, “For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.” Dear friend, all Jesus is asking us to do is to believe Him. He wants us to Believe Him for our today, tomorrow, and our future. He wants us to believe Him in all our difficult situations. Jesus knows how difficult this life on earth would be. We need His help to make the right choices. The God who knows yesterday, today, and tomorrow can help us make wise decisions. He knows how to hold our hands and walk us through the ups and downs of our life. Shall we surrender our life to Him today? Let’s ask Jesus to be the master of our life.

Dear Jesus, I come to you. Thank you for your supreme sacrifice. I am a sinner. I have done mistakes. I want forgiveness. You know the deepest secrets in my life. You know all the hidden sins. I am ashamed of what I have done in my life. Please forgive me. Wash me with your precious blood. I want to be your child. Make me new. Be my God and lead. Change my life. Help me to believe in you. I do not want to go back to my past life. Give me the spiritual strength to overcome.
Jesus, I want to follow you with all my heart. Take control of life. I believe you have already forgiven all my past. I thank you and praise you for what you have done for me. In Jesus’s mighty name, Amen.
