How to Pray to Jesus?

Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you. – Jesus Christ

If you want to talk to somebody, you will pick up the mobile and call. But if we want to talk to God, we pray. We call others in mobile to thank them, to show our love, or vent our frustration. We do the same with God. Prayer is a mode of communication between man and God. We need not memorize a lot of things and repeat in our prayer with God. We just have to tell him what we are thinking about. We need not act before God. We might be so frustrated or unhappy right now. Just tell God how bad you feel. How bad the day was. While everything goes perfectly, let your God know how much you enjoyed the day and how thankful you are. Prayer is talking to God like we talk to our friends.

You might say, God knows everything. Then why should I pray? You are right. God knows everything. But we need to ask to receive it. The Bible says, For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. He always listens to your prayer. You might think your prayer is not important. But for God, every one of your words is important.

How to start the prayer?

Before we start our prayer, we need to make sure God can hear our prayer. Unless the other person hears what we are saying, we can not get an answer to our question. Similarly, we need to make sure God can hear our prayers. When does God can not hear our prayers? If we are not right with God, then our mistakes can stop our prayers from reaching him. We might have picked up an argument with our friends or colleagues in the office and used unprofessional words against them. We can correct the problem by apologizing for our mistakes and ask for forgiveness from God. He loves us so much. He surely forgives our past mistakes and forgets it. This makes sure we are reconciled with God and our communication line with God is clear. Start your prayer by asking God to forgive your past mistakes. What to pray?

As a start, please start talking to God as you are. You don’t have to be somebody. You need not copy others’ prayer. Please be who you are. Be real. We don’t have to act like somebody else. Tell God what you feel. Tell him what made you upset. Share with him things that made you happy, and you enjoyed it. Thank him for the prayers God answered. Also pray constantly for those prayer requests that are pending to be answered. God says in the Bible, Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know. Dear Friend, do you have unanswered question with God? Continue to pray. Never will your prayers go unanswered.

How your prayers get answered?

When we pray, God knows exactly what to give, when to give, how much to give, and what not to give. God who created every one of knows what is good for us. Many years ago, I applied for a job in an organization. I failed the interview, though I prayed about it a lot. I was not happy. I do not know why I failed. After a few months, I realized the company Where I attended the interview was closed because of some reason. Thankfully, I did not get that job. God knows it was not a good place for me. What I could not see, a timeless God could see. I learned my lesson. It’s always better to trust in God and not on your own understanding. Similarly, I learned my lesson on why I should not force a decision from God. It never worked for me. I failed several times by asking God to give me things, which he does not want to give. I have wasted my time and money by receiving things that God does not want to give me. Hence I would suggest, do not force what you want through prayer. Be happy, patient, and content with what God gives. His thoughts are better than our thoughts.

Secret of Prayer

When we pray according to God’s will, Jesus Christ prays along with us. He will start praying along with you to great God. Now It’s not one man praying. It’s you and Jesus praying together. Isn’t that wonderful that you are praying along with the son of God?  God answers your prayers with Yes, and other times he might say no if what you are asking is not good for your future. Rarely He might also ask you to wait. God can solve your problem immediately or progressively. For example, if you are sick God can heal you instantly or he might heal you through medication progressively. It’s better to wait for his way. His ways are the best. The Bible says, Taste and see that the Lord is Good. Dear Friend, continue to pray to God. You will know how good he is. Shall we pray to Jesus?

Dear Jesus, I humble my heart and come before you. Jesus, I ask for forgiveness for my past life. Please forgive all the wrong things I have done in my life. Please wash me with your precious blood and forgive me. Help me not to do the same mistakes again. Thank you for dying on the cross for my mistakes. Thank you for loving me. Thank you for all the good things you have given to me. Jesus, help me live a life for you. Let me follow you with all my heart.  Dear Jesus, You know my heart and all my needs. I pray for my mental & physical health, my family, and my job. Let me love you more and trust you with my heart. Jesus, I want to talk to you every day from today. I pray in Jesus’s name, Amen.
