My Dear Friend, we have insurance for almost everything. There are home insurance, medical insurance, dental insurance, auto insurance, life insurance, and so on. The insurance gives us peace of mind. For example, if we have medical insurance, then we do not have to worry much about spending a huge amount when we fall sick. To give peace of mind, we take the insurance in advance before something happens. Insurance also protects us from any risk. For example, we can mitigate an unexpected accident and the related damages caused by well-planned auto insurance. Insurance is a new norm in the modern world.
Insurance companies have come up with solid calculation procedures to compute and let us know how much insurance we need to protect ourselves from the risks. They base it on the value of the goods for insuring, our need, and the risk it carries. For example, a person with difficult medical conditions will find it tough to get medical insurance but a healthy person will get medical insurance with less premium and Co-payment.
All of us are careful and knowledgeable enough to invest precious things in our lives. But do you know the most precious thing in our life? It is our soul. Why is it so precious? Everything on the earth gets destroyed except the soul, which lives forever. All religions agree on this. In all religious views, a soul once created never gets destroyed. Every one of us is born with the soul and physical body. In the Christian view, a soul after its life on earth either goes to heaven or hell. For the soul, death is just an event it is not an end. It moves from earth to another world, which could be heaven or hell. Wherever the soul goes after the death of our physical body becomes its final destination of residence forever.
The final destination for our soul, whether it is heaven or hell, is determined by our choice. Yes, we get to determine where our soul will live in eternity. We have complete freedom to decide. What a great privilege we have to decide our eternity. While we have the habit of insuring everything on earth, don’t we need insurance to make sure our souls end up in heaven and not in hell? The Bible says, What good will it be for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? Or what can anyone give in exchange for their soul? Why does the Bible put such high importance on the Soul? Because the eternal life of our soul is much longer than the finite lifetime on earth. We might win everything and achieve our heart's desire on earth during our finite time on earth, but if we miss the bus to heaven, then our soul’s eternal life needs to be spent in hell, which is the only alternative choice. Hence, we must decide our eternity by ensuring our souls.
God offers a full and guaranteed solution to the eternal life of your soul. Bible says, Who ever believe in Him (Jesus) will have eternal life. - John 3:16. The only criterion to go to heaven is believing in Christ. You don’t have to pay anything. All you have to do is to put your belief or trust in God. How can it be free? Because God already paid the price for your insurance and then he is giving the assurance of heaven free of cost. The Bible says he (Jesus) was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed. Isaiah 53:5. Jesus Christ paid the price on the cross so that our mistakes can be forgiven, our souls can be cleansed and we can go to heaven.
Dear Friend, Would you open your heart and accept Jesus right now? He loves you and cares for you. He wants you to be in heaven along with him forever. The journey to eternity is only by invitation. The exclusive invitation comes from God himself. None of us can take the call of deciding when to enter eternity.
Dear Friend, Independent of what kind of problem you are going through right now, I urge you to take a call about your eternity. The infinite life on heaven is more important than the finite life on earth. The temporary problems on earth are less important compared to permanent happiness in heaven. The Bible says, No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him. What a glorious life God has prepared for you and me in heaven can’t be imagined with our human finite mind. Are you ready to believe? If yes, I would request you to do the below prayer.
Dear God, Thanks for helping me to realize your glorious plans for my soul. I have lived my life on my terms until now. Please forgive my past. I have made several mistakes and wrong choices in my life. Dear Jesus, thank you for the sacrifices you have made on the cross for my mistakes. Please forgive me and wash me. I would like to be your child from today. Change my life. Let me follow you from here onwards. I commit my life to you. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
My dear friend, I am so happy you could decide today about your eternity. We would like to hear from you. Dear friend, We are so happy that you have decided to follow Christ.
