Dear friend, have you been trying to find a job for a long time and feel tired? We have received many emails from people who have gone through exhaustion, frustration, and burnout after trying to find a job. Few have gone into debt due to a lack of proper sources of income. There is an immense need to get a job as soon as possible. Do not think you are a failure.
Friend, if you are going through this situation, Jesus knows your heart and the pain you are going through. He loves you dearly and cares for your future. Jesus wants you to be happy. He wants to fill your life with peace and lead you. You don’t have to get frustrated anymore about the situation you are going through. Let’s go to His presence and pray to Him. We want to pray along with you at the end of this message.
Many have gone through difficult situations such as yours. Jesus was able to change their life. You can read their testimonies. Jesus wants to do the same for you. He wants to give you a testimony in your life. He wants to bless you today.
Let’s see a few people who went through challenging situations in the Bible. They didn’t have a proper job. Their future was bleak and uncertain. But God was able to change their situation. The same God who changed their life is with you right now. He wants to change your situation, too.
Penniless to Prosperous:
Please go through the Bible Reading: Genesis 28:10-22.
In the Bible reading, Jacob runs away to save his life after cheating on his brother Esau. He does not know what his future holds. He was driven by fear and anxiety as his brother was trying to harm him. During Jacob’s journey, he chose a place to rest for the night. God met Jacob while he was sleeping. Jacob made a covenant with God. The Bible says, “Then Jacob made a vow, saying, “If God will be with me and will keep me in this way that I go, and will give me bread to eat and clothing to wear, so that I come again to my father’s house in peace, then the Lord shall be my God.” He named the place as Bethel, which means house of God.
All Jacob asked in the above verse was bread to eat and clothing to wear. He was so desperate as he had nothing. Jacob was alone and had no job, income, or property. But he was holding on to His God. Eventually, Jacob returned to Bethel after twenty years. This time, he had a large family, herds, and property. The Bible says, “Then Jacob, his wives, and his children got on camels and left northern Syria for the home of his father Isaac in Canaan. Jacob took along all his flocks, herds, and other property.” – Genesis 31:17 ESV.
God did bless Jacob when he surrendered his life to God. He molded Jacob’s life over twenty years, making him a new man.
Dear friend, are you in a situation like Jacob’s today? You may think your life does not have a future. But Jesus can show you a future. God knows the talents you have more than you do. He is the one who created you. He knows how to mold your life and bless you. Will you allow Jesus into your life today?
The journey from Prison to Palace:
Bible Reading: Genesis 40, 41.
Joseph (Jacob’s dear son) was sold as an enslaved person by his brothers at the age of 17. He served a prison sentence for mistakes he never committed. Joseph had more reasons to get depressed than many of us. He spent all the precious years of youth as a slave and as a prisoner. Joseph had one special gift from God. He knows how to interpret dreams.
Joseph did not lose hope. One day, the King of Egypt had a dream, and no one could interpret it. Joseph interpreted the dream, and he was made the governor of Egypt. The Bible says, “Joseph was thirty years old when he entered the service of Pharaoh king of Egypt” – Genesis 41:46 ESV. Joseph waited for thirteen long, tumultuous years. He holds on to the gift of interpreting dreams God gave Him. God did raise him in His own time. He moved from prison to place in a moment. He was made the governor of Egypt.
Dear friend, Are you tired of searching for a job for a long time? Jesus will also raise you. He has already given unique gifts for your life. Jesus can show you how special you are. Each one’s gift could be different. Please seek the name of the Lord with all your heart. Jesus will lift you if you allow Him in your life.
Shepherd Boy to King of a Nation:
Bible Reading: 1 Samuel 16:1-13.
Dear friend, are you doing a job which pays you low wages? Your wages could be low, and you are trying hard to cover the family expenses with a low salary. God can change your situation.
David was a shepherd and the youngest son of Jesse. His primary job was taking care of sheep that belonged to His family. Samuel, the great prophet and the judge, came to his town. God told Samuel He had chosen one of Jesse’s (David’s father) sons as the King of Israel. Samuel wanted to meet Jesse’s family and anoint the King. David’s family did not consider him very important when the prophet Samuel visited them. Jesse invited all his sons to Samuel except David. But God chose only David and did not consider any of his brothers.
The Bible says, He sent and brought him (David) in. Now he was ruddy and had beautiful eyes and was handsome. And the Lord said, “Arise, anoint him, for this is he. Then Samuel took the horn of oil and anointed him in the midst of his brothers.” – 1 Samuel 16:12 ESV.
The world might choose the strongest, wealthiest, and wisest people. God chose David because he loved God with all his heart. You may not be the wisest or the strongest. But God could still select you on how He sees you. Do not worry. You are not alone. Jesus is with you.
Jesus wants to provide for your needs. He wants to bless you with a good job. Let’s go to the presence of Jesus and pray to Him. Jesus wants to answer your prayers. Let’s pray.
Dear Jesus, I (insert your name here) come to you with a humble heart. You know my situation. I have been tired of searching for a job for a long time. Please show me a way. Mend my life, Lord. Help me during this challenging situation. You are my God. You alone can show me open doors. I read today about Jacob, Joseph, and David. You have raised their life when they patiently yielded their hearts for you. I come before you and yield myself to you. I want to obey you and follow you with all my heart. Forgive all my past mistakes. Wash me with your precious blood. Hold my hands and lead me. Wipe away all my tears. I put all my faith in you. I believe in you. In the mighty name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.
Dear friend, Thanks so much for joining with us today. We are praying for you. Jesus will provide for your needs. He will open new doors for you. Do not worry. May Jesus bless you and make you a blessing for many. Keep in touch.
