Jesus wants to guard your mind against depression.
We all experience difficult situations, ups and downs, and happiness is controlled by the happenings around us. But God promises to guard our hearts and minds with his heavenly peace.
The Bible says, “Do not be anxious or worried about anything, but in everything [every circumstance and situation] by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, continue to make your [specific] requests known to God. And the peace of God [that peace which reassures the heart, that peace] which transcends all understanding, [that peace which] stands guard over your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus [is yours]. (AMP)”
You might say you are facing a terrible problem that no one can solve. How can this peace guard my heart?
The answer to the question comes from the above verse from the Bible. The peace offered by God is beyond human logic.
It comes from God himself. What do we have to do to receive this peace? All we have to do is pour out our hearts to Jesus with a sincere and humble attitude about our problems and ask Him to lead us. Invite Jesus into our life and ask Him to lead us.
The Bible also says, “Cast all your cares [all your anxieties, all your worries, and all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares about you [with deepest affection, and watches over you very carefully]. (AMP)“
Jesus cares for you right now. He is with you wherever you are. You are not alone. You are not fighting your battles alone. God, who created you, has great concern and care for you. He loves you.
Jesus wants to solve your problem.
You might ask, Jesus wants to guard my heart with peace, then what about my existing problem? When will I be able to come out of it?
You might be experiencing a relationship problem. Your problem could be debt, a broken past life, sickness, or anything else.
Jesus said, “Which of you, if your son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!“
Jesus is your heavenly father. He cares about you and wants to give you His best at the right moment. Let’s go to His presence and ask Jesus to bring us out of the difficult situation.
The Bible says, “For everyone who keeps on asking receives, and he who keeps on seeking finds, and to him who keeps on knocking, it will be opened.“
Let’s ask, seek and knock on the doors of heaven right now.
Connect with Jesus
Dear friend, if you have not connected with Jesus till now, we cannot go to His presence. Independent of our background, we all commit mistakes. We lie, we cheat, and we speak inappropriate words. We need to ask for forgiveness and receive it from the hand of Jesus.
He paid for all our mistakes on the cross by offering himself as a punishment. He already paid the price for our forgiveness in full. All we have to do is tell him how sorry we are.
The Bible says, “He who conceals his transgressions will not prosper, But he who confesses and forsakes them will find compassion.”
Dear friend, please do not hide your past. It’s not worth it. Today is your day. Please go to the presence of Jesus and ask him to forgive all your past. You do not have to spend any money. You do not have to travel to a distant place.
You can receive your forgiveness right now where you are. Jesus is going to change your life. He wants to speak to you and longs to comfort you.
Please place your hand on your heart and lift up your eyes towards heaven. Ask Jesus to come into your life.
Tell him you are ready to pour out your heart in His presence. Oh, He loves you, and he is with you right now. Please say the following prayer in your own words.
Dear Jesus, I come to your presence. I am a sinner. I have made mistakes in my life. You know my situation right now. Please come into my life. I need you. Forgive all my past mistakes. Wash me with your precious blood.
You alone can save me. You alone can change my life. Jesus, you alone can fill my heart with peace. Please hold my hands. Lead me. I have made many choices without consulting. I have lost my peace and am depressed.
Please guard my heart with your heavenly peace. Please help me to come out of the depression. Heal my mind. Strengthen me mentally, spiritually, and physically. You are my hiding place, my fort, and my strength.
Jesus, you know about the problems I am going through. You are my heavenly father and my provider. Hear my plea and answer me. I believe in you. I put all my trust in you. You are going to answer my prayers. In Jesus’s mighty name, I pray. Amen.
We would like to pray for you if you could stay with us for a minute. Stay where you are and pray along with us.
Dear Jesus, We are praying with our dear brother or sister. We do not know who they are, but you know every one of them. You know their hearts and desires. You know all about their past. Please come into their lives. Forgive their past mistakes. Wash them with your precious blood.
You have died for each one of them on the cross. May your love and compassion surround them right now. Heal the heart from all the past hurt. Wipe away all their tears. May every one of them be touched by your power. May their heart be filled with your heavenly peace and joy. Guard their hearts against depression.
Those who are going through depression right now to be lifted out of it. May your nail-pierced hands touch them and heal them. You alone can do it. You are our God and in whom we put our trust. We cannot go to any other place. Jesus, we plead with you. May your name alone be glorified. We put all our trust in you.
Thank you for listening to our prayers. We believe you are going to answer every one of the prayers. No one should leave this page with depression. Heal every one of them. In Jesus’s mighty name, we pray. Amen.
Dear friend, Jesus heard your prayers and has forgiven all your past sins. We are praying for you.

A man who trusted God very much wrote, “Even though I walk through the [sunless] valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod [to protect] and Your staff [to guide], they comfort and console me.”
We do not have to fear when we have Jesus on our side.
The Bible says, “For God did not give us a spirit of timidity or cowardice or fear, but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of sound judgment and personal discipline [abilities that result in a calm, well-balanced mind, and self-control].“
Continuously seek God for a calm, well-balanced, and self-controlled mind.
