What do you do when you feel like you can’t go on?

Dear friend, What to do when debt repayment becomes more than income? What to do when medicines are not helping and life is breaking apart? When the problems are more significant than the available options and solutions, we end up in despair. Questions start popping up, but there are no answers. Dear friend, have you reached this situation and wondered what to do when the situation makes you feel like you can’t go on?

If you are going through suicidal thoughts, please stop here and approach the available crisis lines.

Before you continue, many have gone through similar situations as yours. They were able to overcome their problems and have written their testimonies here. God can do the same for you.

There is help available when you can’t go on:

Do not worry. There is help. King David, when he went through the most challenging situation, wrote:

Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me. Your rod and your staff protect and comfort me. – Psalm 23:4 NLT

David knew where to put his hope. He was not afraid when he traveled through the darkest valleys. He was a shepherd boy. But he was chased by a mighty king. At one point, he was tired of running. He sat down and wrote many psalms with a heart filled with depression and anxiety.

He kept questioning his situation and sought his help from the Lord. The words David wrote are still a great comfort today for those who go through difficult situations, even after three thousand years.

Here is one of David’s Psalms during challenging times:

Day and night I have only tears for food, while my enemies continually taunt me, saying, “Where is this God of yours?” My heart is breaking as I remember how it used to be: I walked among the crowds of worshipers, leading a great procession to the house of God, singing for joy and giving thanks amid the sound of a great celebration!  – Psalm 42:3,4,5 NLT

All through his difficult times, David always looked above instead of around. He knew his help would come from God.

Hence, David wrote, My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth! – Psalm 121:2

Dear Friend, are your problems impossible to solve? What is impossible for us is possible for God. Jesus can open the way for you.

Help is always available when you feel like you can’t go on.

How can we get help when we can’t go on?

God’s help is available for everyone. Our help is just a prayer away. But many of us are not praying. We are not asking God to come into our life. We keep asking, where is God when I am suffering?

Jesus is waiting for your call. The Bible says, Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know. – Jeremiah 33:3 NIV

Jesus said, Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.Matthew 7:7 NIV

Jesus is waiting to answer our call. Do we have time to pray to Him?

Some might say, I have been praying for a long time, but my prayers are not answers. You can watch the YouTube video below on how to get answers to your unanswered prayers.

Please take a moment to ask Jesus to come into your life and lead you. He wants to bless your life and help you through all the challenging situations.

How does God respond to our ask for help?

It is essential to understand how God responds to our prayers. Jesus loves you. He listens to all our prayers. He is a God who listens.

Jesus said, “For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.” Matthew 7:8 ESV.

Jesus also knows our hearts and understands our thoughts.

The Bible says, For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin. – Hebrews 4:15 ESV.

Jesus himself toiled through this earthly journey. He understands the problems we are facing and wants to fill our hearts with peace.

Secondly, Jesus knows what is best for our lives. He knows when to give, how to give, and how much to give. He is the God of heaven.

Sometimes, we are worried when God’s answer is delayed, though we wait in God’s presence in prayer.

God expects us to have confidence that He will provide for our needs.

How do you invite Jesus into your life?

Dear friend, Jesus wants to change your life. You can invite Him into your life with a simple prayer. You do not have to change your religion. You do not have to travel anywhere. You can ask Him to come into your life where you are.

Let’s do a prayer together. Jesus wants to bless you and transform your life.

Please place your hand on your heart and call upon the name of Jesus. Pray the below prayer along with us from the bottom of your heart.

Dear Jesus, I (Insert your name here) come to you with a humble heart. I need you in my life. There are times I have felt like I can’t go on anymore. But today, I learned you are my hope and my helper. You can help me to carry on in life with peace and joy. Please come into my life. Hold my hands and lead me. I believe in you. I love you. Jesus, I want to follow you all through my life. Please forgive all my past mistakes. Wash me with your precious blood. I pray in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.

Dear Friend, you no longer have to feel like you have reached the end. Jesus wants to help you. He will help you to carry on in your life victoriously. Believe in Him. We are praying for you.

May Jesus bless you and make you a blessing for many. Keep in touch.
