My Dear Friend, Do you question why there is evil in the world if there is a just God? Did God Commit a mistake? Did his logic fail miserably when it came to humanity? Why did God have to send his son, Jesus, to solve the problem of evil? Let’s try to answer these questions.
In the beginning, God created man and wife and called them Adam and Eve. God gave them the option to choose between life and death. He gave a warning not to choose death. By giving them the ability to make choices, God ensured he did not create a machine or a slave but an intellectual and independent man very similar to himself. God gave them the freedom to choose and make an independent decision because he loved Adam and Eve. Metamorphically, the fruit of good and evil and the fruit of life were placed in the garden of End. God said if Adam and Eve eat the fruit of good and evil, they will surely die.
Why are life and death so important?
A soul born in this world never dies. It might go through a physical death, but in spirit, it always exists. After physical death, the life of the soul goes on forever. It can have eternal life in heaven or eternal death in hell. In the Garden of Eden, Adam and Eve could choose between eternal life and death. Adam and Eve choose to know good and evil instead of life. The choice they made destined them to eternal death, as God said. The Children of Adam also inherited eternal death. The knowledge of good and evil enabled humanity to do wrong against each other. Thus, evil entered the world. God loved humanity so much that he came up with an alternative plan. God somehow wanted to give humanity the option of eternal life again. This is his great redemption plan that led to the birth of Jesus Christ on earth.
Redemption Plan
The path to redemption cost God everything and man nothing. Though God did not make the wrong choice, He took complete responsibility for correcting it. Since all men have inherited eternal death, God had to send a man without blemishes to earth to create a new generation. Man has to be from God’s very own self and be part of Him. The man should be able to give eternal life to humanity. He also has to pay the price for the mistakes committed by all men throughout his very life. God chose to send his one and only son to earth to redeem us. They named him Jesus. He is the source of eternal life. When the man with eternal life (Jesus) produced children, then those children inherited eternal life. All the children born of men will inherit eternal death from Adam and Eve. But when those children are born (again) of Jesus, they will inherit eternal life. Like the seed of eternal death was passed from Adam to us, the seed of eternal life was passed from Jesus to us when we became His child.
For God so [greatly] loved and dearly prized the world, that He [even] gave His [One and] only begotten Son, so that whoever believes and trusts in Him [as Savior] shall not perish, but have eternal life. – Bible
How did Jesus produce children?
There are two ways we can become children of a parent: by physical birth or through adoption. Jesus adopted us as his own children. We were physically born to parents and inherited their eternal death. But Jesus adopted us as His own children and gave us the privilege of inheriting eternal life from Him. Everyone born in this world has to receive this eternal life by becoming the child of Jesus.
Jesus Himself bore and took away the sin of many, And interceded [with the Father] for the transgressors. – Bible
How to become a child of Jesus?
All of us have the freedom to make our own options and decisions. We can be proud or humble, live in debt or be prudent, be wise, or naive. God wanted to give us the choice between eternal death and life so we can choose. Jesus came to the world to open the gates of eternal life. No one forces you to follow Jesus. It’s your choice in life. But God is waiting for you outside your heart’s door. Are you able to hear his gentle knock? Will you open the doors and invite him into your heart? It does not matter how dirty your past was. God wants to forgive all of that right now. Will you bow down your head and confess your past to Jesus? God wants to make you His own child. Go to Him as you are. Tell me all about your past. He is willing to accept you right now. Please pray the below prayer.
Dear God, Thank you so much for your precious gift of eternal life to heaven. Lord, thank you so much for paying the price for my mistake. I come to your presence today. Please forgive all my past mistakes. I have made so many wrong choices and decisions in my life. Please forgive me and wash my heart. I believe in You and want to follow You with all my heart. Make me your adopted child. Let me follow you all my days. In Jesus’s name, Amen.
