Dear Friend, greetings to you in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Jesus loves you. It is His desire that you lead a fruitful and blessed life. He wants to help you overcome all your battles. This message will help you identify the battles you have in your life and be victorious.
We want to delve deeper into the battles we have in our lives. There are battles Jesus will help us. His healing power, comforting words, wise counsel, and forgiveness for our past will help us and guide us during our tough times.
There are battles Jesus wants us to fight with His power He has given us. He wants us to be victorious and promises an excellent prize for our victory. Jesus expects us to be overcomers.
Jesus said:
To everyone who is victorious, I will give fruit from the tree of life in the paradise of God. – Revelation 2:7 NLT.
Whoever is victorious will not be harmed by the second death. – Revelation 2:11 NLT.
Know your enemy:
A battle always involves two parties. Someone is fighting against us. Normally, we failed to see who it was. Someone is stealing our time. There is someone who is enslaved to the internet. There is someone who is enslaving some of us in gambling, pornography, drinking, smoking, substances, and other obsessions. Someone induces us to extravagant spending and tarnishes our lives with debt.
In many cases, someone is unseen. We do not even realize how devouring and deceiving our lives are.
Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. – 1 Peter 5:8 ESV.
Unless we recognize the enemy we are fighting, we will never realize we are actually in a battle. This is a problem with many of us. We lose a battle without fighting.
How does this enemy keep us within his control? He makes us sin. Every sin has the power to enslave us. That’s how the enemy keeps us in his control by making us slaves to sin.
Jesus answered them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, everyone who practices sin is a slave to sin. – John 8:34 ESV.

How to identify our enemies?
Why do many of us end up in an obsession? Why do most of us end up in debt? Why do many of us want to spend time with God but are not able to do so? Why does our family relationship crumble?
It is because we do not realize that we are being deceived and devoured by satan. The best way to keep us away from the presence of Jesus is by enslaving us, by keeping us busy, and keeping us in sorrow and pain.
The Bible gives us clear guidance on who our enemy is.
For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. – Ephesians 6:12 NLT
The only way to identify our enemy’s deceptive power is to examine our lives in the truth and light of the Holy Spirit.
If someone says that we are heading in the wrong direction, we might get angry. But if we allow the Holy Spirit to reveal what is wrong in our lives, our hearts will be convicted, and our lives will change. That’s the power of the Holy Spirit’s conviction.
Jesus said:
When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own but will tell you what he has heard. He will tell you about the future. – John 16:13 NLT.
Will you invite the Holy Spirit into your heart and ask Him to convict and correct your life? He will show you how the enemy is trying to destroy your life.
You will be a great blessing to yourself, your family, and all of them around you if you allow the Holy Spirit to show you the deceiving power of the enemy.
How to Overcome the Enemy?
Once you identify that you are obsessed, your bring deceived, then the next step is to overcome your enemy.
If you have not invited Jesus into your life, please invite Him by asking for your forgiveness for your past. Jesus will forgive and change your life. He wants to forgive all your past and make you His precious child.
Once you become the child of God, you have the power to resist and chase the enemy away.
Jesus has given you the powerful weapons to fight this enemy.
Every devil trembles when we say the name of Jesus.
The Bible says:
That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue declare that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. – Philippians 2:10-11 NLT.
There is a power in the blood of Jesus. It breaks away the sin and the slavery that is associated with it. Any obsessions, such as gambling or pornography, can be released by the blood of Jesus. Sprinkle the blood of Jesus spiritually on the areas of your life where you need freedom.
But if we are living in the light, as God is in the light, then we have fellowship with each other, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, cleanses us from all sin. – 1 John 1:7 NLT.
As the blood cleanses us from sin, it breaks the power of sin that enslaves us and sets us free.
Jesus has given a great armour of God. Please meditate on these words at all times and allow Jesus to teach you how to apply them in your life.
Therefore, put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.
Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people. – Ephesians 6:13-18 NLT
Dear Friend, shall we go to the Lord in prayer today? Jesus wants to reveal to you the enemies that are deceiving your life and stealing all the blessings. He wants to help you win every battle and lead a victorious life.
Let’s pray to Him. Please place your hand on your heart and call upon the name of Jesus from the bottom of your heart.
Dear Jesus, you alone can show the enemies who are stealing my life away from me. Please forgive all my past mistakes. Wash me with your precious blood. I have sinned knowingly and unknowingly. You are my savior. You have died for my sins on the cross. Please help me lead a holy life.
Holy Spirit, I welcome you. I invite you into my life. Please show me and convict my heart. Show me the truth and help me understand the enemies. Convict my heart. Set me free from my sins that are making me a slave to them. I want to stand against the evil and live for the truth. Please guide me. Set me free from all the chains that are binding me.
Let the blood of Jesus free me from the clutches of debt, obsessions, anger, laziness, and sickness. I want to glorify your name. Fill my heart with your peace, in the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.
Dear Friend, Jesus loves you. He wants to help you and be victorious. Continue your wonderful walk with Jesus. May Jesus bless you.
