Dear friend, Are you going through a tough time? Are you in the middle of a storm and being tossed by many cyclic thoughts right now? God knows what you are going through. He understands that you are tired of your life. He cares for your future.
The Bible says, “Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed,” says the Lord, who has compassion on you.” Life on earth is not easy. Every one of us has challenges. But God’s love and His guidance will be with us all through the ups and downs of our life. He will never let us down.
If you doubt whether Jesus can help you, you can read many real testimonies from people touched by the almighty God here => Testimonies.
These are testimonies written by people who had to endure difficult moments like yours. But Jesus was able to bring them out when they believed in Him.
I want to write a few things you may want to do when you are tired of life.
Be with your loved ones.
Whatever problems you are going through right now, please do not spend your time alone. Be with your loved ones. They could be your parents, relatives, friends, or whomever you know. Even if no one is around, please try to write a note or call your friend. Try to express what you are going through. You need someone willing to listen to you, someone who cares for you.
If you do not have anyone to write or call, please look up to Jesus. He is always willing to listen to you. You are His precious child. He is your heavenly father. He understands your heart more than anyone else in this world. Jesus knows how to hold your hands and lead you.

Look Up to God:
When you realize the problem at hand is beyond your control, the first thing you can do is stop looking down at the situation and start looking up to God. Surrender the situation to God. Seek His advice and wisdom and wait for His answer.
One night, I was taken to the emergency since one side of my body became numb. I lost my ability to speak. My brain stopped working partially. I was rushed to the emergency.
Doctors scanned my brain and did various tests. Their conclusion was brain cancer. I went through the biopsy. We, as a family, waited at God’s feet. The biopsy results pointed to another disease. I went through many months of pain. Gracious God slowly brought me out of my painful condition.
I would say my happy times are to praise God. My tough times are to learn lessons from Him. The Bible says, “Therefore, I (God) am going to persuade her, lead her to the wilderness, and speak tenderly to her.” Some of us need wilderness experience.
So that we will have time alone with God to listen to what He is trying to say to us. God, who helped me, wants to help you too. He wants to wipe away your tears right now and give you peace. Are you ready to Believe Him and seek His face?
Try to Stop Thinking about Losses
Due to what you are going through, you might be carrying a fresh wound. There could be losses in your life. The lost element could be wealth, time, health, or a relationship.
Do not focus on what you have lost. You will surely get back what you have lost. Some of the things we lose in life are not reversible or in other words, we may not be able to get it back. But over time, we will get over it. I have lost someone close to my heart. I have hope that I will meet him in heaven.
David, when he lost his dear child, said, “I (David) will someday go to where he is, but he can never come back to me.” Jesus helped me to get over my loss over time. He will help you too. Do not lose heart.
Pondering over and over about what we have lost will only deepen our wounds and keep them fresher for a long time. This will make our recovery longer and slow down the healing process. I know it’s very difficult to stop thinking about what we have lost. But if we need to move on in life, we must forget the past.
At times, thinking about our life situations can lead to depression or anxiety. If you notice any signs, please schedule an appointment with the doctor immediately.
Do Not Compare
Do not compare yourself with others when you are down and disappointed with your own life. Do not presume that all the others are happy in life except you. All of us go through problems.
A comparison will create self-pity and bring about more negative thoughts. To overcome the situation, stay positive and think positively. Trust God. He will surely lead and guide you out of the situation. Keep your eyes on Him rather than comparing yourself with others.
You do not have to carry all the burdens of life.
Jesus knew our life on earth will not be easy. He carried all our burdens on the cross. We do not have to carry the same burdens Jesus already carried for us on the cross.
Connect with God
If you have not already connected with God for your past life and mistakes, please do it immediately. God wants to forgive and forget your past. We need God on our side to come out of the current situation. When God is on our side, who can be against us?
The Bible says If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. – 1 John 1:9 ESV. God is ready to forgive our past if we confess our mistakes. Do not wait for tomorrow. Wherever you are, go down to your knees and ask for forgiveness. It’s time to connect with your God and keep God on your side.
When God is on your side, who can be against you?! Do you want to know how to connect with Jesus? Watch the short video below to learn more.
